The boot of your EC40 can hold 404 l. Fold down the rear seat backrests to bump that up to a maximum of 1 310 l, including a 61-litre compartment under the boot floor. The inner wheel arches are pushed out of the way to widen the boot and create a flat floor. Lower the boot floor to stow heavy or bulky items – it’s simple enough to do with one hand. The power-operated tailgate opens with the touch of a button outside the car or on the centre display. At higher equipment levels, you can use your key fob or the Volvo Cars app.
